The game meets you where you are — your very first match starts on the gentlest setting so you can find your feet.

• A coach in the match. On your first game, short prompts appear right when they're useful — run to the ball, hold Space to shoot, Space to tackle — and quietly retire the moment you do each one. No tutorial screen to sit through.
• Simple controls do the fiddly bits. On Simple (the default) the game hands you the teammate nearest the ball automatically — no switching to manage — and helps place your shots in the open corner. Prefer full manual control? Switch Controls to Advanced in the menu.
• Just want to practise? Tap 🎮 Free Practice on the home for a pressure-free knockabout — the opponents stand down (their keeper still guards the net), and nothing counts toward your record.
• Lost mid-match? Pause (P / Esc / ⏸) any time to see the controls.

Touch: left pad moves (gentle drag = close control, rim = sprint), ⚡ passes/shoots, ⇢ plays the through ball. Set Controls: Advanced in the menu to see the full legend.

Gamepad: plug in a controller and play — left stick moves (pin it to the rim to sprint), A pass / hold to shoot, B through ball, Y lofted pass, X hold for the finesse curler, LB switch, LT jockey, LT+RT shield, RB/RT sprint, Start pause.

Camera views — press C to cycle:

Paused? ⟲ Replay the last goal any time, 📸 frame a photo, or set the 🔊 volume to taste.

On-screen buttons — a small row sits in the top corner the whole time: ? opens this How-to-Play, 🎥 cycles the camera, 🔊 mutes, and ⏸ pauses. Once a match kicks off a 👁 button joins them — tap it to hand the match to the AI and just watch; tap again to take back control.

屏幕按钮 —— 画面角落始终有一排：? 打开本操控说明，🎥 切换镜头，🔊 静音，⏸ 暂停。比赛开始后还会多出一个 👁 按钮——点它把比赛交给 AI、你专心观赛；再点一次即可收回控制。

MECH CUP plays in both portrait and landscape — hold your phone however you like. The layout re-flows on its own, so turning sideways loses nothing.

Landscape gives the pitch more width and a roomier view, so it's the comfier way to play — the game nudges you once with a small ↔ rotate for more room hint. To rotate, switch off Portrait Orientation Lock in Control Centre, then turn the phone sideways.

On Android, kicking off a match now takes the full screen and locks landscape for you — nothing to set up. iPhone can't do that from the browser, so use the Home-Screen trick below.

Your phone buzzes on the big moments — a goal, a tackle, the woodwork, the whistle.

If your phone ever pauses the graphics to free memory, you'll get a clear “Graphics were interrupted” message with a Reload — never a silent black screen. Your cup and career are saved either way.

Want true fullscreen on iPhone? Safari and Chrome can't always tuck away the address bar over a game that fills the screen — it hides only while a page scrolls, and the pitch doesn't. For the most app-like view:

1. Open mechcup.com in Safari — it has better fullscreen control than iOS Chrome.
2. Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
3. Launch MECH CUP from the new home-screen icon — it opens chromeless, no browser bars.

Or just turn the phone landscape: Safari may still show a sliver of bar, but the pitch gets the full width. On Android, Chrome's Install / Add to Home screen gives the same standalone view.

机甲杯竖屏、横屏都能玩——手机怎么拿都行，布局会自动适配，横过来不会损失什么。

横屏能让球场更宽、视野更开阔，玩起来更舒服，所以游戏会用一次性的 ↔ 横屏空间更大 小提示轻轻提醒你。要横屏，先在控制中心关掉竖排方向锁定，再把手机转到横向。

安卓上，开球时游戏会自动进入全屏并锁定横屏——无需任何设置。iPhone 的浏览器做不到这一点，请用下面的“添加到主屏幕”办法。

关键时刻手机会震动——进球、铲球、中框、哨响。

万一手机为释放内存而暂停了画面，你会看到清晰的“画面被中断了”提示与重新载入按钮——绝不会是一片沉默的黑屏。你的杯赛与生涯都已保存。

想在 iPhone 上真正全屏？当画面铺满整屏时，Safari 和 Chrome 并不总能收起地址栏——地址栏只在页面可滚动、向下滑时才隐藏，而球场并不滚动。最接近 App 的做法：

1. 用 Safari 打开 mechcup.com —— 它的全屏控制比 iOS 版 Chrome 更好。
2. 点分享按钮，再点添加到主屏幕。
3. 从主屏幕的新图标启动机甲杯——将以无浏览器边栏的全屏打开。

或者直接把手机横过来：Safari 可能仍留一条细边栏，但球场能占满整个宽度。安卓上，Chrome 的安装 / 添加到主屏幕可获得同样的独立全屏视图。

• Tackle — press Space near an opposing carrier for a committed slide. Win it and the ball pops loose; whiff and you stumble — and a missed slide inside your own box concedes a penalty. Time it: a well-timed, front-on challenge (you between the carrier and your goal) wins the ball more often than a lunge from behind.
• Jockey — hold the right mouse button to contain: you move slower, but your tackles bite harder. You'll see it — your robot drops into a low stance, arms out, cutting the lane.
• Watch their №10 star ★ — every team's danger man is faster and hits harder. Mark him.

• 盯住对方的 10号球星 ★ —— 每队的危险人物都更快、射门更狠。看死他。

• Finesse curler — hold E while shooting: less power, a big bend to the keeper's far corner.
• Driven shot — hold Shift (sprint, or gamepad RB) while shooting: a flat, hard drive that stays low. You aim it yourself — no auto-placement — so it trades placement for pace.
• Dink — a light shot at a keeper who's rushed off his line lofts over him automatically.
• Bicycle kick — a full-power strike on a high dropping ball. Low gravity makes it a signature move.
• Corners beat keepers; central shots get saved. Full power + a corner is the classic finish.

• 弧线球 —— 射门时按住 E：力量稍减，大弧线兜向门将远角。
• 劲射 —— 射门时按住 Shift（冲刺，手柄 RB）：又平又冲的低平球。需自己瞄准（不再自动修正落点）——用精准换速度与力量。
• 挑射 —— 门将出击时轻射会自动挑过他的头顶。
• 倒挂金钩 —— 对下落的高球全力起脚。低重力让它成为招牌动作。
• 打角度能进，打中路会被扑。满蓄力+瞄准死角是经典的终结方式。

• Your kicks — aim with the mouse, touch stick or gamepad stick, hold to power, release (A on a pad). Full swing lands just inside the post.
• You keep goal too — on their kicks, aim picks your side (the keeper leans with you) and Space commits the dive. Guess early at your own risk; stand still and you only get a late reflex.
• Corners — force a defender to turn the ball over his own byline and the corner is yours to take. AI takers have a repertoire: a near post whip, a far-post hang, or the classic central ball.
• Penalties — missed slides in the box are spot kicks, for both sides.

The TACTICS dial sets how your team plays off the ball. Pick it in the menu, or change it mid-match from the Pause screen — no need to quit. It reshapes your outfield only; the opponent is unaffected.

A change while paused takes effect on the next kick. Win a corner and watch your teammates pour into the box on Attacking — or hold their shape on Defensive.

• Two lanes: ⚡ Quick Match records nothing — a pressure-free knockabout you can jump into in one tap. Win 3 in a row and the result screen invites you to a ⚑ Cup Run — the recorded lane, where your career, rating and unlocks actually grow.
• The bracket is the real 2026 knockout bracket — check My Path in the bracket view on your phone.
• Every nation has its own anthem motif — you'll hear it again when they score.
• Win a cup and the Trophy Room banks your title-winning goal — hit ▶ to relive it in the shirts it was won in.
• Win any cup once and you earn the Champion seal — a gold stamp on your shareable result card, and a badge on the home.
• Full time plays your match highlights — the goals, plus your best saves and any woodwork; save the whole reel as a real video clip — or save any single goal on its own from the result screen — share the result card, or frame a 📸 photo from the pause screen.
• Beat the Daily Challenge and share your result as a spoiler-free emoji grid, or send the link — everyone plays the same draw. Your 🔥 streak greets you on the home — keep it alive.
• Four difficulties, topped by Legend — faster reads, tighter marks, cleaner passes. For veterans only; the keeper stays honest.
• Your goals build a Golden Boot — the Trophy Room tracks your career goals and names your top scorer.
• Get knocked out and the game remembers: meet that nation again and it's a ⚔ REVENGE MATCH — win it to settle the score for a Trophy Room honour.
• The deeper you go, the bigger the night — each nation's fans take an end of the stands, the semis and final open under fireworks, and the commentary ticker calls the big moments. Let the game go quiet and the terraces start a crowd wave.
• Red against red never happens: if two shirts would clash, the away side plays in its alternate kit automatically.
• At the halfway mark a stats card drops in — possession, shots, saves, who's on top — and auto quality quietly keeps the frame rate smooth on slower devices.
• Back up your honours: the Trophy Room's ⇪ career code exports everything as a compact code — import it on any device and your careers merge.
• Every goal remembers its provider — assists show on the scoreline band and stack up in your career. The reel stars a Goal of the Match, and full time crowns the Player of the Match — playmakers count too.
• Finish a run and the share card becomes a season recap — every round's score on one card. Career landmarks (10 goals, 5 cups, a Legend title…) fire golden milestones that live in the Trophy Room.
• Beyond the Triple Crown lies the Grand Circuit — win a cup on the Moon, then Mars, then Earth, in that order, for a 🌐 career landmark. The Trophy Room tracks your path (Moon ✓ → Mars ● → Earth ○).
• Before kickoff, the walkout shows your all-time head-to-head record against that nation — a first meeting, who leads, or a score to avenge.
• Make it yours: the Trophy Room lets you pick an earned ball trail and goal-splash colour, unlocked by playing — career goals, cups, a Legend title. Free, always. The result screen 🎨 names each one the moment you earn it.

• Everyone plays the same daily draw — same team, same world, same difficulty, and a 1-minute match — so the board compares like with like. Finish today's Daily Challenge and the result screen shows the day's top runs.
• Joining the daily board is optional and one tap: hit 🏆 Submit to today's board — and there's no account, no login, ever.
• Ranking is simple: a win beats a draw or loss, then the bigger goal margin, then more goals scored, then the faster finish. Losses and draws are welcome — the board holds the whole day, not just the winners.
• Best run of the day counts. Run it back as often as you like: only an improvement replaces your row — your score can never go down.
• A fresh board opens every day. Yesterday's is gone; today is a clean sheet for everyone.
• If the board is quiet, offline, or resting, the game just carries on without it — it never blocks your match.

The global Pilot Rankings: finishing any match also updates your Cup Rating on the public Pilot Rankings automatically — every match counts, and skillful play counts more. Don't want to appear? Tick “Hide my name” in the Rankings panel (the 🏆 link at the bottom of the home) and your entry turns anonymous — your rank and rating stay, your call-sign doesn't. Want the row gone entirely? Email the address below.

What's stored: an anonymous player ID generated on your device (no account, no email), the call-sign you choose, and your scores — your daily results and your Cup Rating. These are public under that call-sign — so pick a call-sign, not your real name. For a short window (up to 7 days) we also keep a technical log of submissions — your browser's user-agent, a coarse country, a one-way scrambled form of your IP address (never the address itself), and the submission itself — purely to catch cheating and spam. Nothing is sold, shared, or used for ads, and the board sets no cookies. Want your scores removed? Email contactus@mechcup.com with your player ID (the result screen can copy it for you) and we'll delete them.

全球机师排行榜：完成任意比赛都会自动把你的杯赛评分同步到公开的机师排行榜——每场比赛都算数，打得好加分更多。不想上榜？在排行榜面板（主页底部的 🏆 链接）勾选“隐藏我的代号”，你的条目会变成匿名——排名和评分保留，代号不再显示。想彻底移除条目？发邮件到下方地址。

我们存了什么：一个在你设备上生成的匿名玩家 ID（无账号、无邮箱）、你自己取的代号，以及你的成绩——每日战绩和杯赛评分。这些会以该代号公开显示——所以请用代号，别用真名。另外我们会短期（最多 7 天）保留一份技术日志：浏览器 UA、粗略国家、你 IP 地址的单向加密形式（绝不保存 IP 本身）以及提交内容，仅用于识别作弊和刷榜。这些数据不出售、不共享、不做广告，榜单也不使用 Cookie。想删除自己的成绩？把玩家 ID（结算页可一键复制）发到 contactus@mechcup.com，我们会删掉。
